Custom Security Advisory
A scoped-to-you engagement that closes whatever specific security or AI gap brought you to the table, with an advisor on call afterward, billed only for the hours you use.
Start the ConversationWe Start With a Conversation, Not a Package
Every other Ophir Cyber service is built around a defined scope. This one is built around yours. A short scoping conversation determines what's actually in play, often a lightweight IT/security review, AI usage and training, incident response readiness, or a cyber insurance coverage review, but the engagement is built around whatever your business actually needs, not a pre-built bundle. It closes into an On-Call Advisory Retainer: no weekly hour commitment, no monthly minimum, just a standing relationship billed hourly whenever a security or AI question comes up.
Is This the Right Fit
- No one internally owns security or IT risk as a real function, an ops manager, an office manager, or an outside MSP with no security specialization is wearing the hat
- Something specific brought you to the table, not a general sense that you should probably do something about security, a near-miss, an insurance renewal, a board question, a push to adopt AI
- Your need doesn't map cleanly to one of Ophir Cyber's other single-topic services, or spans more than one of them, without being broad enough to justify a full Program Assessment & Roadmap
- You're not ready to commit to an ongoing weekly-hours retainer, but you want a safety net for the next time something comes up
- You want something bounded, specific, and quick to approve, not a generic package or an open-ended commitment
How Scoping Works
A short conversation
What brought you to the table, what's already been tried, what would actually move the needle. Ends in a written scope and a fixed price or estimated hours.
Whatever was scoped
A review, a training series, a plan build, a coverage read, in whatever combination and sequence fits, typically two to six weeks.
Findings and recommendations
Presented to leadership, tied back to what originally prompted the engagement.
Advisory, as needed
You call or email as questions come up. Hourly billing, no standing meeting required, reviewed annually.
Engagement Model
Scoped Delivery
A defined, time-boxed engagement against a written scope confirmed before work begins, typically two to six weeks. Closes with an executive readout tying findings back to what originally prompted the engagement.
On-Call Advisory
No weekly hour commitment, no monthly minimum. A standing relationship billed hourly whenever a security or AI question comes up, reviewed annually.
What You'll Have
- A written, confirmed scope and price before any delivery work begins
- Whatever specific deliverables were scoped, an IT/security review, AI training, an incident response plan, an insurance coverage read, or a combination
- An executive readout tying findings back to what originally prompted the engagement
- An On-Call Advisory Retainer in place, ready whenever you need it
“I'm not going to sell you a pre-built package. Let's talk about what's actually going on, and I'll tell you honestly what it would take to close it.”
Before we agree on anything, you'll have a real scope in writing, so we both know exactly what this covers.
